In total, there are 50 supporting staff employed to ensure that the daily learning process in URP-SP is operating in its track. The support staff include:
- Academic administration staff, who are in charge for managing daily learning activities, such as ensuring that lectures go according to schedule. In doing so, most of academic administration staff are able to use computer and ICT facilities.
- Lab technicians, who are divided into studio staff and IT staff. Studio staff are in charge for supporting learning activities in studio, preparing field survey and data for planning analysis and simulation, and studio maintenance. While IT staff are in charge for ensuring ICT services within the campus.
- General administration staff, who are in charge for managing administration on behalf of Department of Architecture and Planning
The composition of support staff can be seen in the Table 18. Based on this figure, the ratio of overall support staff to students is 1 to 7 (as per data 2014/2015). In a more detailed figure, the ratio of academic administration staff to students is 1 to 52, which means that 1 academic administration staff has to serve 52 students. The ratio of lab technician to students is 1 to 72, which means that 1 lab technician has to serve 72 students.
