Pada 19-20 Februari 2025, Dewi Afiliyani (PWK UGM 2021) memperoleh kesempatan istimewa untuk menjadi bagian dari expert team dalam proses akreditasi internasional ASIIN (Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics) bagi program Sarjana dan Magister Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota (PWK) Universitas Brawijaya.

Tim Ecobreeze berhasil meraih Juara 1 dalam Paper Competition SIGMA 2025, yang diselenggarakan oleh SEG & HAGI Student Chapter Universitas Padjadjaran pada 22 Februari 2025. Tim ini terdiri dari Ilkarizia Etro Candra Gabesya (KPJ 2023), Mulky Djati Sabila (KPJ 2023), dan Zuhud Ahnaf Fauzi (PWK 2022).

Dalam kompetisi ini, Tim Ecobreeze mengajukan karya ilmiah berjudul “ECOBREEZE: Program Teknologi Spasial Adaptif, Edukatif, dan Konstruktif Berbasis Land Surface Temperature dalam Upaya Reduksi AC terhadap Urban Heat Island sebagai Perwujudan SDGs 11 dan 13 di Kota Surabaya.” Penelitian ini menyoroti dampak Urban Heat Island (UHI) di perkotaan serta menawarkan solusi berbasis Land Surface Temperature (LST) untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pendingin udara (AC). Pada Selasa, 25 Februari 2025, Departemen Teknik Arsitektur dan Perencanaan (DTAP) Universitas Gadjah Mada mengadakan acara pelepasan wisudawan Program Studi Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota (PWK). Acara ini menjadi momen penting bagi para lulusan yang telah menyelesaikan studi dan bersiap untuk melangkah ke tahap berikutnya dalam dunia profesional maupun akademik. Dalam kesempatan ini, para wisudawan PWK UGM didampingi oleh Ir. Deva Fosterharoldas Swasto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM. yang juga mendampingi sebagai Kepala DTAP, serta Ratna Eka Suminar, S.T., M.Sc., dan Widyasari Her Nugrahandika, S.T., M.Sc. sebagai dosen perwakilan dari Prodi PWK. read more

Pelatihan Perencana Muda (PPM) is an annual event held by student as one of the learning media for new student of urban and regional planning to find out things related to urban planning. This year’s PPM was carried out on 3,4, and 10 November 2018. The purpose of this activity was to introduce matters related to urban planning supported by scientific writing, public speaking, design and presentation techniques.

This event includes training and workshops, field survey, focus group discussion, and presentation of the observation. On the first day, the event opened with a public speaking seminar by Varrel Vendira. Participants were divided into groups that observed several locations such as Jalan Kaliurang, Jalan Margo Utomo, Jalan Monjali, and others. Commemorating the National Agrarian and Spatial Day (Hantaru) on November 8th, the Urban and Regional Planning Student Association (HMTPWK) held a campaign. Taking the theme of City 2.0, this campaign revived the role of the youth in the development of urban space. City 2.0 will be described as a city that will pass through the city to come. This event provides aspirations about the city we’re dreamed of in the future.

The campaign was carried out by creating an aspiration board titled “me-reka kota” which was placed in several location, namely the HMTPWK secretariat, BEM KMFT, and KPFT. Anyone was expected to participate in this campaign by describing the desired urban condition in the future. The enthusiasm of students seen from the number of stickers affixed to the board. Various ideas were put on one board that can be an innovation not only for URP student but also other majors in the faculty of engineering UGM.
