Covid-19 pandemic had a major impact on our daily activities, including university education. In our case, it affects our learning activities. Classes which usually carried out in a direct meeting are now switching to online classes.
To support these various online activities, Urban and Regional Planning Program use the assistance of Cisco Webex and Microsoft 365 to conduct online learning. Also, UGM has prepared an academic support system (eLisa, eLok, etc). Through this system, lecturers and students can interact and have discussion about learning materials, assignments, and projects.
The graduation ceremony of the Urban Regional Planning Study Program on the 18th of February was held, celebrating the accomplishments of 7 Urban and Regional Planning Program graduate students with an average GPA of 3,47.
The head of BURP, Muhammad Sani Roychansyah, ST, M.Eng, D.Eng read the name of the graduates assisted by Deva Fosterharoldas Swasto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. as a department secretary accompanied by Dr. Yori Herwangi, S.T., MURP as a study program representative to congratulate the graduates and parents.

ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) is an international accreditation agency from Germany for engineering, mathematics and science, agriculture, and biology disciplines. Its accreditation is Outcome Based Accreditation.

The next program was a speech from the Department given by Dr.Eng. Ir. Ahmad Sarwadi, M.Eng. as Head of the Architecture and Planning Engineering Department, remarks from representatives of the graduates’ parents, and remarks from Febby Akzan Zulfikha, S.Ars. as a representative of graduates. This speech contained an impression and a message containing a few words as an expression of gratitude to the Lecturers and all staff of the Department of Architecture and Planning, as well as a message of encouragement for fellow graduates and hopes that the Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Regional and City Planning will be useful in the future. for themselves and for other people.
The graduation ceremony was then closed with a group photo, lunch and music and band entertainment that had been prepared at the Innercourt courtyard of the Department of Architecture and Planning. There were also friends from Architecture and Regional and City Planning students from various forces who also enlivened the event and congratulated the graduates.
