Universitas Gadjah Mada’s International Undergraduate Program (IUP) is a flagship program that is offered by undergraduate study programs in several faculties. This program is established to offer international exposures, great career opportunities, and enrichment/improvement of knowledge, ability to adapt to foreign cultures, and foreign language skills.
International exposures can consist of:
- international academic programs (double/joint degree);
- international internships;
- international student exchanges;
- research at international partners;
- joint learning experiences organized by UGM and its partners abroad; and/or
- other activities that provide enrichment of international knowledge and experiences.
The admission to IUP is separated from that of the regular programs, through national admissions (SNBP/SNBT) and UGM’s (UM UGM). The complete information about this program can be accessed through the website of each IUP.
UGM aims to provide greater opportunities for those interested in studying at its undergraduate programs. Therefore, in the 2024 admission, any applicant accepted and proceeded with their registration at an IUP cannot be accepted in regular program in UGM through SNBP or any of the other pathways (UM UGM PBU and/or UM UGM CBT).
