The admission process follows the national examination held by the national board of higher education. The schedule of this examination is set by the national board of higher education and can be slightly different year by year. Since 2011, aside from the national examination, a student can also be admitted through “invitation” if the requirements are met; namely good grades in each semester during high school and the grades are always improved (or at least stable). With this admission system, the input quality is ensured.

Until now, the number of applicants is fluctuating year by year. However, this fluctuation cannot be directly interpreted as a function of the attractiveness of URP-SP (Urban and Regional Planning – Study Program). There were periods where URP-SP had to reduce its capacity due to the lecturer to student ratio.
