Tim alumni Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) berhasil meraih Honorable Mention dalam EPOCH45 International Planning Competition, sebuah kompetisi multidisiplin bagi mahasiswa dan profesional muda di bidang perencanaan spasial untuk Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) yang diselenggarakan oleh kolaborasi dari Universitas Diponegoro and MARS Architects. Kompetisi ini bertujuan mencari solusi inovatif dalam pengembangan kota dan lanskap untuk fase pembangunan IKN selanjutnya. Pengumuman penghargaan dilakukan pada 18 Maret 2025 di Erasmus Huis, Royal Netherlands Embassy, Jakarta.

The graduation ceremony of the Urban Regional Planning Study Program on the 18th of February was held, celebrating the accomplishments of 7 Urban and Regional Planning Program graduate students with an average GPA of 3,47.
The head of BURP, Muhammad Sani Roychansyah, ST, M.Eng, D.Eng read the name of the graduates assisted by Deva Fosterharoldas Swasto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. as a department secretary accompanied by Dr. Yori Herwangi, S.T., MURP as a study program representative to congratulate the graduates and parents.
The graduation ceremony of the Architecture Study Program and the Urban Regional Planning Study Program in November was held to release 18 Architecture Study Program graduates and 3 Urban Regional Planning Study Program graduates. The event began with the opening by Dr.Eng. Ir. Ahmad Sarwadi, M.Eng. as the Head of the Architecture and Planning Engineering Department, the graduates and invitees together sang the Indonesia Raya and Hymne Gadjah Mada songs, then read the minutes of the Yudisium by Labdo Pranowo, S.T., MSc. as a representative of the Architecture Study Program and Widyasari Her Nugrahandika, S.T., M.Sc. as a representative of the Regional and Urban Planning Study Program. The reading of the graduation program is accompanied by the awarding of certificates and placards for graduates.

This tracer study is an instrument to keep URP-SP updated on the track record of the alumni, such as the types of their jobs, the length of their waiting time for getting the first job, and the amount of their first salary. In addition, it is also an instrument to gather information from the alumni about the relevance of the URP-SP curriculum for their current jobs and their suggestions to improve it. This tracer study is significant to ensure the URP curriculum is on the right track to support alumni’s career. It is normally followed-up by a regular evaluation on the current curriculum.
