Employability and Job Sector 

As previously noted, alumni from BURP are employed across various sectors, including the private sector, government, BUMN/BUMD, self-employment, NGOs/research institutes, and others. Figure below illustrates the time it takes for BURP alumni to secure employment, showing a notable percentage of 2023 alumni secured a job before graduation. For 2024 alumni, most found employment within 1 to 3 months after graduation. The distribution of job sectors for BURP alumni, based on surveys conducted in 2023 and 2024, is presented in Figure below.

Based on the Tracer Study, we found out that there is a small percentage of graduates who experienced mismatch between the competencies acquired during their studies and the jobs they currently hold. For BURP, the mismatch percentages were 10.53% in 2023 and 8.93% in 2024, indicating a relatively low level of mismatch.
